Guild Rank Structure

HNE's leadership team consists of 1 Guild Leader and a team of Officers (DKP Officer, Treasury Officer, Recruitment Officer, and Raid Strategy Officers).

  • Ensures guild policies and standards are upheld and adhered to by everyone in the guild, without exceptions.
  • May create, rename, remove and/or otherwise alter any and all guild ranks and rank permissions/descriptions.
  • Sets the agenda for the leadership team (guild focus, recruiting, guild assets oversight etc).
  • The GL is also the guild's Raid Leader. The GL has final authority on anything raid related (raid schedule, needed classes for recruiting, dkp distribution, appointing raid roles, loot distribution etc). The GL will host the loot distribution process during raids and is bound by HNE loot distribution policy when hosting bids.
  • The GL is the final authority in any and all guild matters that require a discretionary decision. This includes (and is not limited to) the inviting or disbanding of anyone on the HNE roster, the guild's raid force and it's management, guild relations, execution of any and all guild assets, and/or any guild integrity issue.
  • HNE's Guild Leader is obligated to treat each and every individual member of the guild with the utmost respect and fairness at all times.

  • The DKP Officer is responsible for recording, updating, and accounting for all DKP in the guild. The DKP officer has the authority to add, subtract, and alter any member's DKP as a means to enforce guild policy.
  • Mistakes can and will happen; the DKP Officer is obligated to investigate member dkp complaints and do whatever is needed to fix said mistakes if they are confirmed.

  • Responsible for selling guild assets via the broker and auctioning loot of value while on raids.
  • Responsible for keeping guild bank stocked and organized on a daily basis.
  • The Treasury Officer also tracks purchases made my members for plat to ensure all bids are paid at the end of each raid night.

  • May invite new recruits to the guild.
  • Keeps all public HNE recruitment info updated on a daily basis and actively checks relevant game forums to identify possible recruits for the guild.
  • Interviews new applicants in ventrilo prior to considering an invite to ensure that each applicant is a good fit with our expectations in a new recruit.

  • Assumes leadership of the raid in the absense of the Guild Leader.
  • Responsible for identifying and calling raid jousts, timers etc.
  • Assists in determining proper group setups and the use of raid alts.
  • Responsible for researching all relevant parses, raid zones and kill strategies.
  • Moderates raid related forums encouraging feedback and ideas from the entire guild.

  • HNE Officers are obligated to protect the integrity and heart of the guild and have the authority to disband any member or recruit on the roster.
  • HNE Officers are obligated to treat each and every individual member of the guild with the utmost respect and fairness.
  • Policy voting. In order to govern the guild on a daily basis, certain policies must be made or revised to ensure that things keep running smoothly. When that need arises, the officers of the guild are to participate in a vote hosted by the the Guild Leader in which the leader advises the officers but does not cast an official vote. Only in the case of a "tie" among available officers would the Guild Leader cast the final deciding vote.
  • Officers do not possess the authority to change their own authorities/responsibilities or those of the Guild Leader through the voting process or any other means.

  • Responsible for always remaining an active, motivated and dedicated contributor to the team.
  • Members must always research and understand all encounters we face as a guild, making progress is a team effort [*]always.
  • HNE Members are obligated to treat each and every individual member of the guild with the utmost respect and fairness.

  • The recruitment period lasts 30 days, providing the recruit meets all full membership requirements.
  • A recruit will not be considered for full member status until all membership requirements are met (character level, number of AAs, resist gear etc.).
  • In HNE, we view the recruitment period as a time for recruits to evaluate if we're the right guild for them and in turn, them for us. We're very quick to end the recruitment period of any recruit that shows signs of a poor candidate (not showing up for nights in which the applicant said they could when they applied, poor attitude, unwillingness to communicate when needed etc.)
  • Recruits benefit in no way from guild bank assets and only bid on raid loot if no members choose to bid for their mains.
  • At the end of the recruitment period, all members of the guild have the opportunity to vote on each recruit. The following options are provided in the vote:

YES (10 needed)
Recruit is promoted to full member.

NO (3 needed)
Recruit is removed from the roster.

NEEDS MORE TIME (3 needed)
Recruit will remain at recruit status for an extended period of time at the discretion of the guild leader. This time period is generally not less than 2 weeks.

Note: In the event the threshold for more than one vote is met (a tie) or in situations where none are met, the officer team will vote and make the final decision.
