No drama, disrespect or distractions from what's important to our team. If this ever has to be explained to you in game, you're probably already removed from the roster. Remember that while you wear a Heaven and Earth tag, you represent this guild...always keep it in mind.
- Purchasing/receiving raid loots from anyone outside of the guild is only permitted on loots that our guild already has access to (we've killed the raid encounter at least twice). For the purpose of the rule, we define raid loots as any and all loot that is designed to be obtained through the collective efforts of more than a single group.
- The use of any 3rd party software as a means to exploit the game is strictly prohibited. Also, if leadership even suspects a member or recruit is cheating or exploiting the game, they will be removed immediately and not welcome to return.
- This is everyone's first and last warning on both parts of the Integrity Rule!
Our official guild website is HNERAIDERS.COM. We use our website for a variety of things (DKP tracking, membership votes, guild polls, communication of vital guild information etc.). You'll want to visit the site often to insure that you're always up to date on the latest in the guild and more importantly so that you can contribute as well. Remember, this is a team effort...the raids...the website...attracting decent new players to join our ranks...the whole thing is a team win or team fail type of thing. There are ton of opportunities on our site to contribute a bit extra to the team. Be motivated, dedicated and creative!
Also, for raiding and everyday chat thoughout the day, we use Ventrilo. We expect that all members of the guild both have a working microphone and the ability to hear communication as Ventrilo is absolutely required at raid time, for all members.
Currently, our raid schedule is Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, and Fri...9PM til 12AM EST. Raid invites typically begin around 8:30PM. It is your responsibility to send /tells when ready for an invite to the raid. We are a dedicated raid guild and we plan to keep it that way for good. To do so, we need to have some "minimum" expectation in regards to raid attendance for our membership:
- All guild members must always maintain a 30 day raid attendance above 50% or shall be eligible for immediate guild removal.
- A pattern of coming late to raids or leaving early will also make a member eligble for guild removal.
- Occasionally, members will need to take extended absenses from the game. As much notice as possible should be given on our forums and each request for an extended absence (for an exemption from removal while under 50%) will be evaluated and decided by guild leadership on a case by case basis.
- Almost every night there should be and probably will be more then exactly 24 people who are on and ready to raid. Once the raid is full, we start a waiting list.
- It is the INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILTY of each member to make sure they make it onto the waiting list if the raid is full. To be put on the waiting list, members should send a /tell to the DKP Officer. If there is no reply from the DKP Officer, members should assume that the /tell was not gotten and try again soon.
- While on the waiting list, members receive full credit as if they were in the zone killing the mobs with the raid.
- Providing members are on time, they will also be able to bid on anything that drops that they'd be able to bid on if they were in the raid. If a member is late and then joins the waiting list, they must either wait until they are brought into the raid or the following hour (for which they'd be on time), whichever comes first. If they win the item, someone will camp out so they can zone in to loot the item.
- Members will need to stay available to the raid and be ready to join the raid at all times.
- Members must also be at the zone in to get on and remain on the waiting list. If we need to call you in, the raid shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes for you to travel to the zone.
- If we try to contact a member to ask them to join the raid and they are not able to be reached by any reasonable means, then they will be removed from the waiting list.
- If a member on the waiting list needs to be removed from the waiting list, they should inform the DKP Officer. Failure to do so could result in losing all DKP/attendance for that evening.
Unguilded Alts:
- Alts may not be guilded in another guild that attempts to raid, on our server or any other. Guilds that do not raid, do not apply.
Alts:
- Members may request to have alts of any level invited to the guild. Typically, any character on the roster that has been logged out of game for 30 days or more will be automatically removed from the roster. Please keep this in mind =)
Raid Alts:
- Raid Alts are alt characters that have been cleared to join the raid force. The sole purpose of the Raid Alt rank is to provide a way for full members to offer up alt characters to situationally help our raid force. Raid Alts must meet ALL standard requirements that we'd expect of a new recruit before being promoted. All gear, spells etc. must be kept as up to date (in terms of non raid equipment) as possible.
- Raid Alt characters have ZERO "rights" in the guild in terms of flagging, keys, quest updates etc. This means if and when Raid Alts are used, it'll be at the complete and sole discretion of the Raid Leader of that night's raid.
- We encourage folks to keep guild leadership up to date on the needs of raid alts, however this is to be done via the "Raid Requests" forum on our guild website. Guild leadership will often review this forum and keep all info in mind when making decisions about who to bring into the raid and when. Posting in the forum is for info purposes only and there is no promise that any request will be granted. It can be a benefit to the guild to flag and gear up raid alts, but it is ONLY done as a means to strengthen the raid force, not as a courtesy to members looking to gear alts or for any other reason.
- As stated in our loot distribution policy, Raid Alts are currently permitted to bid on "left over" gear at the same time as recruits. From time to time, this may be not possible if a Raid Alt is not flagged for a zone. Flagging can and will sometimes take weeks or months for certain Raid Alts to complete, depending on where guild leadership fits it in. So long as you've posted the needs of your Raid Alts in the "Raid Requests" forum, you've done all you need to do.
- IMPORTANT!!! Nobody is obligated to participate in the Raid Alt rank, so if it seems like something about it might frustrate you, it may be wise to just stick to your main!
- The recruitment period lasts 30 days, providing the recruit meets all full membership requirements.
- A recruit will not be considered for full member status until all membership requirements are met (character level, number of AAs, resist gear etc.).
- In HNE, we view the recruitment period as a time for recruits to evaluate if we're the right guild for them and in turn, them for us. We're very quick to end the recruitment period of any recruit that shows signs of a poor candidate (not showing up for nights in which the applicant said they could when they applied, poor attitude, unwillingness to smile or talk about ice cream...etc.)
- Recruits benefit in no way from guild bank assets and only bid on raid loot if no members choose to bid.
- At the end of the recruitment period, all members of the guild have the opportunity to vote on each recruit. The following options are provided in the vote:
YES (10 needed)
Recruit is promoted to full member.
NO (3 needed)
Recruit is removed from the roster.
NEEDS MORE TIME (3 needed)
Recruit will remain at recruit status for an extended period of time at the discretion of the guild leader. This time period is generally not less than 2 weeks.
Note: If the threshold for more than one vote is met (a tie), the officer team will vote and make the final decision.
- After a member of HNE deguilds or is deguilded, they also give up their earned dkp and full member status.
- If a former member is approved by the guild leader to return to the guild, they will return to the guild as a new recruit and start from zero dkp. Exceptions to this will be made in only the rarest situations, and the terms of the exceptions afforded that returning player will be discussed and voted on by the officer team.
